COVID-19 pandemic-related eviction relief and rental assistance may still be available to certain tenant-defendants in eviction proceedings through the Texas Eviction Diversion Program. The Texas Supreme Court issues emergency orders as long as the program is still active. These orders provide for procedures in evictions where such relief is available.
